Java 1.2 version of Sel.  Here is a picture of what you will get ...

New version requiring Java 1.2 plug-in:


By clicking the above button in a JavaScript enabled browser, you will be faced with two windows, one will show the exercise for Sel, the other will show a button which you can press to start a Sel window. You may start as many Sel windows as you like from this button.

This version of Sel is a Java Applet, using Java 1.2, so if you don't have the Java Plug-in from SUN or a Java 1.2 enabled browser you will be given a 'plugin not available' picture. If you click on this picture you will be taken to where you can download the Java Plug-in for your browser.  If you download and install the Java Plug-in, you may have to restart your browser and come back to this page in order to run the Java Sel.

If you need help running Sel, you can select 'Help' from the 'Help' menu in Sel at any time, the help page will appear in the window that contains the exercise.

If you really don't want to download the Java Plug-in (Java 1.2) you can use the old version of Sel which runs in most modern browsers:
